Just five minutes up the road it is ideally placed for Rail travellers, Booths Supermarket and the famous Lakeland shop.
Orrest Head, the famous viewpoint, is only a short walk away where stunning views over Lake Windermere and School Knott can be seen. Bowness on Lake Windermere with its wealth of shops and restaurants and lake cruises is just a nice stroll down the road (approx. 1 mile).
