Visit the spectacular 19th century viaduct at nearby Newport. Mulranny is the centre of Granuaile's territory. Visit the legendary Pirate Queen's castles at Rockfleet near Newport, Kildavet (Achill Island) and Clare Island. The bustling towns of Castlebar and Westport are both 20 kms away and offer a relaxing afternoon in their many shops, cafes and pubs.
