Up the steep stairs are two lovely double bedrooms and a twin room all with en-suite facilities. The cottage is in a superb location for walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers and climbers, with an excellent mountain bike facility on the doorstep. Nearby Rhaeadr Waterfall has the highest single drop waterfall in the UK and is well worth a visit. Within easy reach is the town of Llangollen with its steam railway and stunning canal, Oswestry and the medieval market town of Shrewsbury. A trip to Bala or further afield to the city of Chester can easily be enjoyed from this lovely cottage or Barmouth on the west coast of Snowdonia.
