A spacious detached cottage ideally located on the owners’ 360 acre livestock and arable farm, in the scattered hamlet of Strefford, just two miles from the market town of Craven Arms, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This light and airy cottage provides superb accommodation, perfect for a get together with friends and family in the beautiful Shropshire Hills. Enter the cottage into a large hallway ideal for storing walking gear and wellies, off which is a cloakroom with a basin and WC. From the hallway is a large farmhouse-style kitchen with dining table to seat all guests, where you can catch up with the day's events over dinner. A utility room with external door can be found off the kitchen which provides space for drying off your dog after a day exploring the lovely countryside surrounding the cottage! The delightful sitting room with sumptuous leather sofas is a great place for watching a family film, and this room has the added benefit of doors to the garden. Climb the stairs from the hallway to the charming first floor bedrooms, including the master room which has en-suite facilities, and the two further bedrooms offer versatile accommodation. Outside, guests can relax in the enclosed lawned garden, cook a barbecue lunch, enjoy alfresco dining on a summer's evening or take a short walk to the local pub which will delight with home-cooked food and real ales. Close by is the pretty market town of Craven Arms, beautiful Stokesay Castle and Wenlock Edge providing many lovely walks. A wonderful cottage to be enjoyed all year round.
