The lodge was designed with relaxation in mind, making it the perfect retreat if you’re after peace and quiet and the feeling of being close to nature. Inside, the lodge's modern yet homely furnishings make this an ideal base to switch off the mobile phones and relax with the family. Step out onto the decking to enjoy a meal and listen to the birds, or venture slightly further afield to the goat meadow – a great spot for a picnic on a sunny day. Riverside is the perfect place to enjoy the countryside with children. Enjoy the outdoors before returning to your lodge with crisp linens and home comforts. You can also relax on the decking area - the perfect place to take in the wonderful surroundings. There’s plenty to explore in the area surrounding Gara Mill. Slapton Sands is just a short drive away, where you can enjoy a day relaxing on the beach, or join the surfers at nearby Bantham. A trip to Dartmouth is a must, and for something a little different, try your hand at crab fishing on the jetty at Dittisham.
