Millers Loft is located on the beautiful Colmer Country Estate, an 18th Century country estate wonderfully restored to provide high quality self-catering accommodation, with fantastic facilities for the whole family. The 28 acres of private grounds include a walled orchard and lake, plus plenty of quiet spots, where you may be lucky enough to view some of the amazing wildlife including deer and badgers. Outdoor activities include a kidney-shaped large outdoor swimming pool (heated during the summer season), a tennis court, coarse fishing, boules and an adventure playground. Indoor activities include a heated indoor swimming pool, gym (over 16s only) and a games room including a pool table. Internally, the apartment occupies the first and second floors of a converted barn, is south facing and benefits from an open plan living, kitchen and dining area. The self-contained apartment is well-equipped and is furnished to a good standard. Externally, the private south facing garden is furnished with a picnic bench which can seat six. Access to the communal grounds is through a pathway which also leads to the communal facilities. The estate is ideally located for exploring the surrounding area. The beaches of Bigbury, Bantham and Thurlestone are all within a short drive and the market town of Kingsbridge is a six mile drive away. Here you will find an array of small shops and restaurants as well as cruises along the estuary to the popular seaside resort of Salcombe.
