Start the morning with a rinse in the shower room before heading into Hornby to stock up on the essentials, or why not indulge in some pub grub before wandering the streets. Venture further afield to Kirkby Lonsdale, a bustling market town with a rich history and a growing reputation for high-quality independent shopping. Resting on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, you’ll find a wealth of opportunity for hiking, mountain biking and birdwatching at a variety of stunning locations, including the Yorkshire Three Peaks, White Scar Cave, Calf Top, Great Coum and Gastack Beck Waterfall. For a change of scenery, the historic city of Lancaster is home to a majestic Castle and the Ashton Memorial in Williamson Park, boasting panoramic views of the city and beyond.
