Southbourne is a picturesque coastal area located to the east of Bournemouth and is conveniently close to the historic town of Christchurch. This area boasts stunning blue flag sandy beaches and a plethora of leisure activities. By taking a short walk along the clifftop, you will reach the Funicular Victorian cliff lift which will take you down to the sandy shores below. Cafe Riva, a cliff top cafe, serves a variety of food and beverages. Wick Village is a short drive away, and offers riverside walks, boating activities, a public slipway, and a 3-par golf course with a driving range. There, visitors can also find Tuckton Tea Gardens and ferries that take them to Christchurch Quay.
