The village of Charlton Horethorne has a pub within the centre and beautiful countryside surrounds. The honey coloured streets are home to a historic abbey as well as numerous shops, pubs, cafes and artisan boutiques. Those wishing to explore the countryside will find many walking routes from the village which weave through this unspoilt landscape, or you can head off in the car to visit Haynes Motor Museum or Wincanton Racecourse, both within 5 miles. Glastonbury, the cathedral city of Wells, Montacute House and Gardens, Stourhead Estate and Gardens, and Cerne Abbas are all within 15 miles.
