Apartment in Dorset, Litton Cheney

Dorset. Sleeps up to 2

The peaceful village of Litton Cheney is nestled in the Bride Valley and is a tranquil spot, yet ideally placed for touring as it has excellent road links. To the south is the spectacular Jurassic Coast, which is lined with striking cliffs and popular beaches. Eclectic Bridport (6 miles) and the county town of Dorchester (9 miles) both offer essential supplies as well as museums, cinemas, bars and restaurants. There are many attractions within easy reach including Abbotsbury with its subtropical gardens and swannery, Cerne Abbas, which is home to a famous hilltop giant, and Lyme Regis where you will find a historic cobb harbour and picture postcard streets lined with pretty cottages and galleries. Adjacent to the owners home, yet with privacy assured, a shared gravel drive gives access to this first floor apartment. A narrow path leads to the entrance door, with nine steps leading up to it. Once inside, you are met with a light and airy open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen area is to the left and is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. Next, there is an inviting sofa beside a TV/DVD player; a wood burner effect electric fire and a dining area can be found just opposite. A door leads from this space into the twin bedroom, which has an en suite shower room with a WC. Due to the setting within the eaves, there are some areas of restricted head height. The main entrance door and five steps will take you to the private enclosed garden. Mostly laid to lawn and boasting pretty borders, this lovely space has a table and chairs ideal for al fresco dining. An off road parking space is available approximately 40 metres from the property. Unloading is possible directly outside of the apartment.
