A grand and elegantly restored Georgian Townhouse, on Queen Street in the heart of Edinburgh city centre.

Located in the iconic Edinburgh New Town, a UNESCO world heritage site, 45 Queen Street overlooks Queen Street Gardens. A magnificent 13-bedroom Guest House, mixing exquisite period detail with the convenience and facilities you would expect of a modern hotel.

The Space:
This impressive first floor room is the largest in the Guest House, with incredible Georgian windows looking out over Queen Street Gardens and a stunning period fireplace (not in use).

This suite is perfect for larger families, with one super king size bed, a double sofa bed and a single bed, 5 can sleep comfortably in this spacious room which also benefits from a large family bathroom with walk-in shower, perfect for young families.

Each room features a private bath or shower room with luxury Scottish toiletries, Nespresso coffee machines, local tea emporium 'Eteaket' tea, and flat-screen TVs.

A travel cot with a luxury extra thick mattress is available upon request with 48 hours notice. Please let us know in advance if you require this. Please note - linens aren't provided for travel cots.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the communal hallway and the accommodation 24 hours.

Access details will be shared, with the confirmed guest only, ahead of your arrival.

Please ensure you have your confirmation number at all times, shared automatically on reservation confirmation.

The Neighborhood:
Our City Centre location places you at the heart of Edinburgh's busy retail and dining area, just a 5-minute walk from Princes Street, which overlooks Edinburgh Castle and Princes Street Gardens.

With exclusive access to the private Queen Street Gardens opposite, 45 Queen Street Guest House is within walking distance of many attractions. These include Edinburgh Castle, at most a 20-minute walk up the Mound. The Royal Mile connects the Castle with Holyrood Palace, 30 minutes by foot.

Getting Around:
Edinburgh Waverley Station is within easy reach, around 15-minute walk, or half this by car. Both bus and tram services on Princes Street and York Place, offer regular connecting transfer to Edinburgh Airport. Haymarket Train Station, is within 20-minute travel time, and there is now a convenient tram stop at nearby Murrayfield Stadium.

Other Things to Note:
Please note: We ask that where possible guests do not take pushchairs/prams/buggies to rooms on the 1st floor, to avoid damage to walls whilst lifting. We do however provide secure guest storage in a cellar which is accessed with a code you will be provided with on booking. Items left at Owner's risk.
