Broughton Street is a prime city centre location, within walking distance of all the cities main attractions and transport links, plus it offers a host of great amenities (cafes/ restaurants/ shops) on the doorstep.

With its bright rooms, comfy beds and funky decor this home sleeps 6 guests with one family bathroom & one ensuite shower room.

The Space:

The property has a large bright living room, with a sociable modern kitchen. The kitchen as all the mod cons one would expect including a dishwasher. There is a dining space for enjoying meals in together, and a comfortable seating for relaxing after a long day exploring the city.

The sleeping space includes a twin room, and two double rooms. One of the double rooms has a en suite with a shower and sink. The main shared bathroom offers a large walk in shower, sink and loo.

There is also small utility room with a washing machine off the hall and great wifi in the property.

The property is in a shared tenement on the first floor. There is one flight of stairs to get into the property.

Neighbourhood:

Broughton Street is in a residential area and is very popular with Edinburgh locals. It is moments from the heart of the city but has its own selection of great restaurants, cafes, bars and shops.


Getting Around:

The Airport tram stops at the top of the street, where Broughton Street meets York Place making transport to the airport very easy!

There are also buses that run up Broughton Street or from York Place you can get buses across the city.

The Edinburgh Bus Station is about a 5 min walk away on Elder Street/ St Andrews Square.

Waverley Train Station, which has regular trains across Scotland and also South of the border (around 4 hours to London) is about a 10-15min walk away.

If you are thinking of bringing a car to Edinburgh, we would suggest you don't. This is a city to explore on foot. However if you do drive, you can park for free on some of the streets surrounding Broughton Street from 5.30/6.30pm Friday- Monday 8/8.30am. You can also park in the evening for free. At other times there are restrictions in place, or pay and display is applicable. You need to check the signs on street as traffic wardens are everywhere in Edinburgh.

Park and Ride is a good option for the city.

Located in Edinburgh, this cottage is in the city center. Edinburgh Castle and Royal Mile are notable landmarks and Edinburgh Zoo is a popular area attraction. Royal Botanic Garden and Camera Obscura and World of Illusions are also worth visiting.
