Outside there is a decking area with furniture and off-road parking or one car beside the house, plus additional parking a short walk from the property. Within 2.2 miles, you will find a shop, and a pub, and please note that this is a pet-friendly, non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Locally, Coniston Old Man, Wetherlam, and the magnificent woodland paths at Grizedale Forest provide excellent walking, mountain biking, climbing, and watersports options. Take a leisurely ride on the stunning Gondola steam boat and explore the acclaimed town of Hawkshead with its amazing Beatrix Potter attractions. Explore Tarn Hows, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country, or go fishing on peaceful Esthwaite Water. A top-notch vacation destination any time of year.
Located in Ulverston, this lodge is in a rural area and on a river. Brantwood and Lakeside Windermere Ferry Landing are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Lake District National Park and Bardsea Country Park. Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway and Lakes Aqaurium are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking, cycling, and rock climbing nearby.
