This beautiful lodge is set in an idyllic position on a working farm surrounded by open countryside in the National Lake District, just a few miles from the pretty village of Caldbeck. There are numerous rambles, ambles and treks right from your door. Walk to the summits of High Pike, and Carrock Fell, the magnificent views are worth the effort or you can stroll from Caldbeck village along the river banks to the limestone gorge of Howk the waterfalls are a lovely sight. As you enter the lodge you will discover a spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. It is a lovely social space to catch up after a day out exploring. With wall to wall windows at the far end of the lounge the views across Caldbeck valley and fells are stunning and you will never tire of them. The lounge has comfy seating surrounding the TV/DVD and wood burner burner. The kitchen is equipped with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. There is a breakfast bar to enjoy a coffee and chat while preparing dinner and a lovely farm style dining table. Head from the kitchen and through into the hallway where there are two bedrooms, a king size en suite shower and WC and a twin bedroom. Both bedrooms are beautifully decorated with floor to ceiling windows making them bright and airy. There is a bathroom with shower over bath and and WC. There is a raised decking with furniture where you can sit out and watch the world go by, meet the friendly sheep and watch the sunset over the fells. There is private parking for two cars next to the property.
