Beach View is a modern contemporary holiday property which has undergone a complete refurbishment and occupies a superb elevated front line position on the site of the old Gwel Marten Hotel on Headland Road in Carbis Bay and just a short walk to one of the best beaches in England. The apartment boasts a fantastic private sea terrace which very few properties have and overlooks the immaculate gardens of Gwel Marten, providing glorious uninterrupted sea and beach views. There is also free Wifi internet access.

There is a large private covered parking space which is just a few seconds walk away and just a little further is the delightful Carbis Bay train station. It is just a short train ride into the centre of St Ives along the single track and the journey takes just a few minutes and follows a wonderfully scenic path along the coast. The train very popular with visitors and a great way of beating all the busy holiday traffic in St Ives.

Beach View is also located right on the doorstep of the South West Coastal Path so it is an ideal base to start your walk and is also just a few minutes walk down the hill to the golden soft sands of Carbis Bay with its calm turquoise water.

Internally the apartment is very spacious (1200 sq ft) and in the main is fully open plan with a white gloss modern kitchen with breakfast bar, formal dining area with a large table and six chairs and a luxurious lounge area with two very large three seater sofas where guests can relax and enjoy breathtaking sea views. The modern family bathroom is again very spacious and has a separate shower enclosure, twin sinks and a deep luxurious bath with additional shower. There are two large bedrooms to the rear with the master bedroom having a king size bed and the second bedroom has two single beds with an additional single bed designed with flexibility in mind. Both bedrooms have TVs.

There is also has a very useful rear terrace with seating and which is ideal for a morning coffee and a read of the papers when more shelter is required and its also provides guests with a great outdoor storage area for bikes and surfboards.

In terms of local facilities, the nearest supermarket is a Tesco which is less than 5 minutes drive away off the main A3074 road into St Ives and where there is a great Costa Coffee which also has free wifi. There are also banks, hairdressers, a chemist, newsagents and general stores all a short walk away in the centre of Carbis Bay. During the day when on the beach there is a cafe and food outlet.

The apartment is available all year round and a great escape location during the off-peak winter season when walking the South West Coastal path is particularly popular activity. During this time the apartment is available for shorter breaks including weekend and mid-week stays. The St Ives music & arts festival during September is popular as is the New Year festivities.

Located in St Ives, this apartment is on the waterfront. St. Ives Theatre and Barbara Hepworth Museum are cultural highlights, and travelers looking to shop may want to visit Trevaskis Farm and Wharfside Shopping Centre. Consider Acorn Theatre for a night out or St Ives Museum if you're traveling with kids. Jet skiing and scuba diving offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and horse riding nearby.
