Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.

Town: Porth is a small seaside village on Newquay's outskirts. The village has a shop, cafes, restaurants, and a pub on the sandy beach, and the South West Coast Path, which offers spectacular scenery, is nearby. Watergate Bay is a short walk away, with its rolling waves, surf schools, cafes, and pubs, and the popular resort of Newquay, with its beaches, watersports, pubs, restaurants, zoo, and aquarium, is well worth a visit. Fistral Beach and surf centre are three miles west of Porth, while Lusty Glaze Beach's surf training school is actually within the village.

Located in Newquay, this cottage is on the beach. Great Western Beach and Newquay Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Newquay Zoo and Oasis Fun Pools. Traveling with kids? Consider Blue Reef Aquarium and Blue Reef Aquarium Newquay. Discover the area's water adventures with fishing nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with hiking/biking trails and cycling.
