The cottage lies in a secluded valley, surrounded by open countryside with stunning panoramic views, it has been redesigned and offers excellent accommodation from which to explore the surrounding areas.
The property was created from the conversion of a traditional farm steading, Parlour Cottage was the old milking parlour in a former life.
Wonderful walking and cycling are available direct from the door, and the Southern Upland Way, Scotland's Coast to Coast long distance walk, is close by.
It is an ideal base for hill walking, wildlife and bird watching, sightseeing, or fishing. Or try your hand at gold panning.
Nearby Biggar has a number of specialist shops, pubs, eateries, a Victorian style puppet theatre, museums, and its famous Hogmanay bonfire and street party.
Within easy reach of the cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow both with world class museums, restaurants, and shops. Edinburgh with its famous castle, festival and fringe. (runs throughout the month of August). Glasgow, an exciting, vibrant city – home to the Scottish Ballet and Scottish Opera.

Located in Biggar, this cottage is in a rural area. Peebles Golf Club and Southern Upland Way Trailhead are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Falls of Clyde and Falls of the Clyde. Dawyck Botanic Garden and Moffat Woolen Mill are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
