Our lodge is family friendly and can accommodate up to 8 guests. The lodge has many luxury finishing's and so much space for a large family or group of friends to enjoy.

Stand out features include the social outdoor decking which is home to the hot tub and the BBQ hut/ cabin. Not forgetting the playhouse - a great a wee escape for the young children. Perfect for wet weather days.

A short walk to Aviemore , the River Spey and the orbital route makes this a great base for exploring the Cairngorms. Amazing views can be had at the nearby 18 hole golf course.

With everything you'd expect from family holiday homes, The Shambles really delivers on the indoor space. With two lounges, each with a wood burning stove, there is room for everyone and all ages. The Kitchen has a fully equipped laundry room and a dining seating area for casual nights.

There are two twin rooms and two double rooms with en-suite bathrooms. A toddler bed is also on hand should you need to keep a little one closer and a cot and high chair is also available. Wi-Fi, Smart TVs, and board games will keep you connected and a desk area is available for any important work that cannot wait.

The lodge is accessible to some as it has bedrooms, bathrooms, and a living room on the ground floor. Guests would have good use of the facilities, and there is parking for 2 or 3 cars. There are steps to both entrances.

The Shambles is located close to Aviemore Ice Rink, Aldi, Tesco, Boots, bars, and restaurants, as well as the Craigellachie Nature Reserve. Also close by is the hospital, Rothiemurchus Estate, Cairngorm Mountain Resort, Loch Morlich, Loch an Eilean, and Loch Insh.

There are plenty of activities to do in the area, such as skiing and snowboarding, walking and climbing, road biking and mountain biking, visiting the Landmark Adventure Park, Highland Folk Museum, Highland Wildlife Park, River Sports, and Open Water Sports.
