Nethybridge is a charming village in a beautiful setting within the Cairngorm National Park , 12 miles north of Aviemore. It has a well stocked village shop and a renowned butchers . There are 2 hotels and a cafe in the village which serve meals.
BBCs Winterwatch and Springwatch were recently shot close to the house - just across the river Nethy .
The house is in a peaceful situation on the southern edge of the village, with lovely views over the surrounding hills and woods. Built in a traditional style and furnished and fitted in a tasteful contemporary manner the bright sunny rooms are comfortable and welcoming. A bright sunroom at the rear of the house enjoys views of the mountains. There is a large garden and garden furniture is provided to sit out and enjoy the scenic surroundings. It is ideal for children and there are toys and books in the house and a large garden. There are views of the Cairngorm mountains and to the rear of the house is the river Nethy and beyond the beautiful Abernethy forest. There are great cycle tracks and walks minutes from the house.
Located in Nethy Bridge, this vacation home is in a rural area and near theme parks. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Loch Garten Osprey Centre and Craigellachie National Nature Reserve, while Grantown Museum and Tomintoul Museum are cultural highlights. Traveling with kids?
