The Isle of Wight has been designated a Unesco 'Biosphere Reserve' for its environmental significance. It is therefore very important to us that we do all we can to help preserve and protect the Island. As such we strive to make our apartments as environmentally friendly and sustainable as possible. We do this by:
- Sourcing utilities from suppliers using renewable energy sources
- Using environmentally friendly cleaning products such as Method, Ecover and Koh
- Providing reusable dispensers for soap/washing up liquid that are refilled using eco-friendly products e.g. Ecover
- Providing toilet paper and paper towels made from recycled or bamboo materials
- Promoting recycling whilst using our accommodation
- Donating used linen to the Samaritans
Wherever possible we source supplies that are not only environmentally friendly but also donate profits to a variety of charitable causes.
Located in Ventnor, this apartment is near theme parks and near the beach. Old St Boniface Church and Appuldurcombe House are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Ventnor Park and Pirates Cove Adventure Golf. Traveling with kids? Consider Oceanblue Sea Charters, or check out an event or a game at Waterside Swimming Pool. Water skiing and windsurfing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with mountain biking and hiking/biking trails nearby.
