Jubilee Cottage is a superb thatched character cottage in the centre of Sidbury a very pretty Devon village, overlooking open countryside at the rear and just a short walk to the village stores and pubs. The spacious accommodation has tasteful furnishings throughout. Sidbury is a thriving Devon village with a green and pond, cricket club, local inn and shop. It is an easy 10-minute drive to the beach and many shops in Sidmouth, whilst the market town of Honiton is 10 minutes inland. There are lovely walks from the cottage, one popular walk being the East Devon Way and the "Sweetcombe Walk".

An entrance door leads into a sitting area and a separate 'snug'. The snug is the perfect hideaway for some reading or work space while the sitting area has a wood burner and a large flat screen TV. This is a great room for a family film night. From the sitting area a door leads to the first floor where there are three double bedrooms and one twin bedroom all with hypo allergenic bedding. A bathroom with a bath, sink and WC. A separate shower room with a small walk-in shower. The master bedroom and the first double bedroom both overlook the pretty garden and views over the countryside. All the bedrooms have hanging and storage space. Downstairs there is a galley style kitchen with integrated appliances including a fridge/ freezer, gas hob and electric oven. Just of the hallway there is a large fully tiled bathroom with a spacious walk in shower, w.c and sink. French doors leading to a large enclosed garden with outside seating and wonderful views. A living room with comfortable seating and a dining area with seating for eight guests.

DIRECTIONS: Approaching from Honiton take the A375 to Sidbury and Sidmouth. Come down the hill, over the small bridge, carry on until you drive through Sidbury village with the church on your left. Follow the road round with the turning to Greenhead/ Furzhill on your right. As you follow the road round to the left the property is the black and white thatched cottage on the left hand side named 75 Chapel Street. You can park directly outside the cottage. Approaching from the A3052, at Sidford crossroad take the A376 towards Honiton. Approximately 500yards past the mill you will see the cottage on your right hand side.

PARKING: There is unrestricted roadside parking in front of the property and in the area called Greenhead/ Furzhill just down from the property on the left hand side near the war memorial.

THE KEY: Will be left for you in a key safe (small grey box) located to the left of the side entrance door down the alleyway to the left of the property. Pull down the black flap to reveal the row of numbers, rotate to code 8138. Please replace on departure.

LINEN: Bed linen and towels are included. For holidays of two weeks or more fresh linen can be provided. Please let us know before the start of your holiday if this is required. We ask you to strip the beds you are using and leave the linen by the front door, the clean linen will be delivered for you on the change over day.

WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR REFUSE/RECYCLING: East Devon Council has now implemented a stringent recycling regime. There are instructions left for you inside the property on how to deal with your refuse. If you have any queries please contact us during your stay. We need to know within 24 hours if your refuse has not been collected. Unfortunately we will have to pass on any extra charges incurred by the council if their instructions are not adhered to. We very much hope all the visitors will help with keeping Devon Green.

CLEANING: On departure, please ensure the property is left clean and tidy as found. In the unlikely event that we are notified by the owner or caretaker that a property has not been left in a satisfactory condition, please be aware that an extra charge will be made as set out in our Terms and Conditions. Please accept our thanks for your co-operation in this matter

BREAKAGES: Please report any breakages or repairs needed before the end of the holiday.

This cottage is located in Sidmouth. Cadhay and A La Ronde are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include The Donkey Sanctuary and Norman Lockyer Observatory. Bicton Park Botanical Gardens and Otterton Mill are also worth visiting.
