Delightful location surrounded by beautiful countryside and with lovely views and private footpath across the farm to Abbotsham Cliffs. Within 300 yards of popular character pub with restaurant, childrens bar and adventure playground. Indoor leisure pool and Westward Ho!, with its shops, entertainments, golf course and sandy beach, are just a mile, whilst the market town of Bideford is only three miles. Ideal base for exploring the whole of North Devon and the North Cornwall coastline with wonderful walks along the South West coastal footpaths and walking and cycling along the Tarka Trail which can be accessed at Bideford. Many places of interest are also just a short drive including the gardens at RHS Rosemoor, and Dartington Crystal.
Accommodation has great charm, having been sympathetically restored to retain the character of the original barn and is comfortably furnished and well equipped, with exposed beams, oil fired central heating and double glazing throughout. Four bedrooms, all with pine furnishings. Master double with fitted wardrobes, en-suite shower room/wc with power shower and lovely rural views. Twin and bunk bedded rooms. Further double on ground floor with fitted wardrobes, colour TV and en-suite shower room/wc. First floor bathroom/wc with shower attachment, and ground floor cloakroom/wc. Spacious hallway with original flagstone floor and useful storage for coats, boots etc. Stairs leading to landing and first floor comfortably furnished living room with coal effect gas fire, TV, video, DVD, 4' double bed-settee, and with magnificent views over surrounding countryside. Spacious fully fitted farmhouse kitchen/dining room with lovely pine polished floor, large pine table, elec cooker, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and French windows to adjoining courtyard. Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Private courtyard garden with garden furniture built in barbecue and gateway to meadow. Guests are welcome to roam the owner's surrounding fields. Private parking for several cars.
