This listed Devon longhouse is situated on the edge of the famous beach resort of Croyde. The village is full of old world charm and offers a fine choice of pubs, restaurants and small shops. The dune backed sands of Croyde Bay is just a 15 minute walk, a delightful bridleway/footpath close to the property takes you to the stunning beach at Putsborough, whilst other top class surfing beaches along this 'Golden Coast' including Saunton Sands and Woolacombe are all just a short scenic drive. This is therefore an ideal location to have a relaxing family beach holiday or enjoy the many active pursuits available locally including wonderful walks along coastal pathways, golf at the nearby championship golf course at Saunton Sands, cycling along the Tarka Trail or riding in the spectacular surrounding countryside.
This spacious character cottage was previously a popular guest house and offers great charm and character. The accommodation offers a comfortable base for families and groups of friends and is furnished in traditional style throughout with oil fired central heating for the cooler seasons. Five bedrooms - Double with ensuite shower room/wc and French doors to small private patio. Kingsize with ensuite wc and washbasin. Further Kingsize with ensuite bathroom/wc with hand held shower and bidet. Twin with ensuite bathroom/wc and further twin with adjoining family bathroom/wc. Ground floor cloakroom/wc. Spacious beamed character living/dining room with wood panelled walls, large original inglenook fireplace with gas effect woodburner, flat screen TV and DVD. Additional small beamed 'snug' with comfy seating for 2/3 and woodburner in inglenook fireplace. Very large kitchen/breakfast room previously used as the main kitchen for the guest house with a mixture of some commercial units and cottage style units and includes large range cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Fully enclosed side patio area with garden furniture. Off road parking available for 3 cars.
