Benefitting from two reception rooms, four bedrooms and a beautiful garden to the rear, this well-equipped, spacious family holiday home is ideal for couples or families wanting to holiday together. With the central location, you have everything you could wish for right on your doorstep; the castle, riverbank, the beach, dog-friendly pubs and café’s.

Warkworth, a picturesque medieval village is enclosed by a winding loop of the River Coquet and the skyline is dominated by the remains of Warkworth Castle.

Lounge with comfy sofas, TV, feature fireplace with gas fire, piano and a selection of books.

Kitchen (well equipped) with gas cooker, double electric oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave. Breakfast bar with two stools.

Utility room with washing machine, sink and an additional fridge/freezer.

Second lounge/dining room with ample comfy sofas, TV and DVD player. Dining table with seating for 8 and access to the gardens.

Town: Lying in the loop of the River Coquet on the Heritage Coast, Warkworth is a picturesque village, dominated by the dramatic ruins of its 12th century castle. The history of the village and the castle are intertwined with the Percy Family who took over the castle in 1332. The Percys’ other home is nearby Alnwick Castle, most recently associated with Harry Potter as the film location of Hogwarts School. The main street is lined with Georgian and early Victorian houses and there is an exceptional range of galleries, antiques shops, a village shop/Post Office, pubs, restaurants and gift shops to suit all tastes. Warkworth has its own stretch of sandy beach and a 9 hole pay and play golf course. Also within easy touring distance are Hadrian’s Wall, Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island, the Farne Islands, several wonderful beaches and Alnwick Garden with its remarkable water cascade and Tree House Restaurant.

Located in Morpeth, this vacation home is by the sea. Warkworth Golf Course and Alnmouth Village Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Lilidorei at The Alnwick Garden and Eshott Heugh Animal Park.
