Cheviot Barn is located in a small development of old farm buildings and on a working farm, and was originally a barn on Hetton Hall Estate, with beams and thick stone walls still in evidence, this property has been renovated at an extremely high standard using quality fixtures and fittings.

The quiet local roads are perfect for cycling and there are many good walks on the doorstep as it is close to the St Cuthbert’s Way. Belford is 5 miles to the east. Nearby, Holy Island (Lindisfarne), accessed by a tidal causeway is famous for its religious heritage and castle.

Consisting of a cluster of stone-built houses surrounding its small village green, the village has a shop including a Post Office, an art gallery and an excellent pub The Percy Arms known for its good food and beer. A short drive will take you to Alnwick Gardens, the Northumberland National Park and some of the most breathtaking coastline, boasting such delights as Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island and Lindisfarne Priory and the Farne Islands. An excellent touring base.

Located in Berwick-upon-Tweed, this farm stay is in a rural area and by the sea. Belford and District Hidden History and RNLI Grace Darling Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at College Valley Estate and Goswick Links Golf Club.
