The Little Mill is a former threshing mill which has been converted into a beautiful open plan living space with three floors; a loft bedroom upstairs, open plan living area lined with books, artwork and antiques, and toilet in the middle floor. Downstairs has another lounge area with a wood stove, open plan kitchen and dining, bathroom with a shower and toilet and a private double bedroom. Comfortably sleeping two couples in the bedrooms, the two lounge areas (middle and lower levels) can also accommodate four more guests with pull-out beds. Pets are welcome in consultation with the owner for an additional fee (5 pounds per dog per night).

There are beaches just minutes walk away with caves, rock arches and fascinating geological formations. The stunning scenery has even captivated Hollywood film stars, with Mel Gibson's Hamlet being filmed in the adjoining fields.

Good for solo business travellers wanting space and atmosphere, a cosy getaway for couples or family travellers wanting an authentic rustic experience. Guests can enjoy beach walks, fishing, foraging, wild swimming and dolphin spotting. Minutes from Stonehaven where there are shops, places to eat out, golf links and historic Dunnottar Castle.


Located in Stonehaven, this vacation home is in a rural area and on a river. The area's natural beauty can be seen at RSPB Fowlsheugh and Den of Maidencraig Nature Reserve, while Museum and Blairs Museum are cultural highlights. Traveling with kids?
