This stunning country house in the Deveron Valley is perfectly placed for exploring Moray, Aberdeenshire and beyond. It is well away from the crowds, surrounded by fields and woodland and less than half a mile from the River Deveron. The nearest village, Rothiemay, is around 3 miles away and has a pub and shop. It's a fantastic location for walkers, with plenty of choice of both inland and coastal trails. Visit the nearby historic town of Banff with its recently developed marina, the seaside village of Cullen and charming port village of Portsoy. The Moray Firth, where you can go dolphin watching or you might prefer to simply stay home and enjoy the huge garden and local wildlife. The house is all on one level. a choice of informal and formal social spaces. The informal lounge/dining room has a TV, sofas and a family sized dining table that can easily double as a games or craft table for children. The formal lounge/dining room is also comfortably furnished with sofas, armchairs and a table, and has an inviting wood burner. The kitchen is light and bright, equipped with an Aga there is plenty of space to whip up a tasty meal for all the family. There is a utility room with an electric hob and oven, chest freezer, washing machine and a drying room. There are two king size and two twin bedrooms, and two family bathrooms. Outside, there is a large private garden with lots of space for the kids to run around and for adults to stretch out and relax.. This fantastic space is fully enclosed by stock proof fencing and offers a large lawn, garden furniture and some wild woodland where the kids will love to build dens and play. The property also benefits from a chalet with table tennis and a TV. There is also ample parking.
