To the outside is off-road parking for three cars, an enclosed patio with furniture, and communal grounds. The town offers several shops including a small supermarket, chemist, bank and post office, along with two book/gift shops, a kilt making centre and two cafes. All four pubs in the town have restaurant facilities.
Located in Castle Douglas, this cottage is in a rural area and on a river. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Castle Haven Bay and Kirkandrews Bay, while Stewartry Museum and The Whitehouse Gallery are cultural highlights. Cally Gardens and Laggan Outdoor are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with horse riding, hiking, and cycling nearby.
