Situated in a quiet semi-rural location in the town of Bures (which straddles the Essex/Suffolk border) and within easy walking distance of the River Stour. The area benefits from an abundance of local wildlife, fantastic walks and cycle trails and yet, only 9 miles to the centre of Colchester, Britain’s oldest recorded town. Quality fixtures and fittings and have been used in comprising a two-bedroom property that benefits from a modern kitchen and bathroom, together with comfortable living accommodation for three people. Please note that to get to the main bedroom you do need to walk through the second bedroom/landing space. Feel free to make use of the rear patio and sit and enjoy your morning tea or coffee or sit out on the front porch and just take it all in. Pippin Cottage benefits from lots of natural daylight.
Sit and read in front of the wood burner, watch some TV or just kick back and enjoy the peace and quiet. As evening approaches why not enjoy a home cooked meal or a takeaway, or if you’d prefer, take a stroll into the town and head to one of the local pubs. Other local towns include Sudbury, Braintree, Castle Hedingham and Chelmsford all of which have different shops, restaurants and attractions to offer. The Imperial War Museum at Duxford can be reached in just over an hour by car and if you fancy heading into London, that is easily reached by both car or train, the latter in one hour and 15 minutes from Bures train station.
