The market town of Woodbridge, which boasts a large range of stores, pubs, cafés, and restaurants, is only 10 miles from Snape. The region is a refuge for animals, and there are several well-traveled trails that go from Snape, such as the Sailors' Path, through historic forest and heathland to the well-liked seaside town of Aldeburgh.
