Originally a farmhouse, Sherrabeg Cottage has been refurbished for holiday let purposes and sleeps up to eight people. There are four bedrooms, one of which has accessible access, and three shower rooms and one bathroom. The cosy sitting room has a wood burning stove and the kitchen and dining area is fully equipped with French doors leading out into the rear garden. The property has a private driveway for guests to park it.
Due to its remote location, the Internet connect is slow and cannot be used for streaming purposes etc. However, its working agricultural and sporting landscape makes up for this by offering guests total-immersion into the rural lifestyle of those living in the Scottish Highlands. With a wide range of outdoor activities on your doorstep, there is plenty for guests to do and see at Sherrabeg Cottage.
This cottage is located in Newtonmore. Fused and Light and Highland Folk Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Wade Bridge and Boleskine Burial Ground. Highland Wildlife Park and Invergarry & Fort Augustus Railway Museum are also worth visiting.
