Separate toilet.. First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With king size bed, TV and DVD player.
Bedroom 2: With double bed, TV and DVD player.
Bedroom 3: With single bed.
Shower room: With walk-in shower, toilet and heated towel rail.. Heating by rayburn and wood burner, electric heaters, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and fuel for wood burner included. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate. Welcome pack and doggy extras. . Enclosed front garden with patio, garden furniture, firepit, summerhouse and BBQ. On road parking, 100 yards away. No smoking. Please note: The property is accessed by foot over a small bridge and a small footpath.. Gorgeous cottage full of charm and original features, situated in upper Cwmtrch, sat just back from the river, which sounds just fabulous, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. There is lots to do from The Resting Dragon, and with being centrally based, you can be on the beach in 40 minutes or in the mountains in 30 minutes. There are lots of walks to be found near the property, great for taking your four-legged friends. Horse riding is available a short drive from the property, and the award-winning Dan yr Ogof show caves is a great day out for adults and kids alike. The town of Ystradgynlais is a short walk from the property, where an abundance of restaurants, shops and pubs can be found.
The Resting Dragon comprises of open plan kitchen with aga and a portable mini electric oven and hob, and dining room with Aga, large dining table with chairs and bench, living room with wood burner and Freeview TV, utility area with washing machine and toilet. To the first floor there is a single bedroom, a double bedroom, master bedroom with king size bed, TV for playing DVD of which there is a large collection in the property, and large walk-in wardrobe, ideal if you have a baby as the travel cot will have ample space in here. Lovely family bathroom with walk-in shower, granite sink and heated towel rail. Outside is a large, enclosed garden with brick-built barbecue, a summer house which is set up for yoga/light weights or just to relax on porch of summerhouse where there is a small table and 2 chairs, great for morning coffee as it catches the sun and decked area next to the river, perfect for listening to nature at the end of the day with a glass or two. The patio area is large enough to for dining al fresco and the fire pit has seating all round to keep everyone warm should the evening turn a bit cooler. The property is accessed via foot over a small bridge and then a small footpath, parking can be found on the lane further along from the bridge or as you turn in to the lane. The owner will kindly collect anyone from the local station if they do not have a vehicle and will also provide guided walks (arranged in advance and with the owner directly). Beach 12 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

The property is accessed via a small foot bridge please do not park or cross over the larger bridge as this is used for farm vehicles'.
There is a dog chest in the lounge with blankets/towels to cover the sofas and take care of any wet muddy pooches. Dog shampoo in utility room and an outside tap/sink to help keep your pets and muddy wellies clean.
