Welcome to historic Edinburgh, the festival capital of Scotland, where the grim religious reformers of the 16th century were finally replaced by the poets, philosophers, scientists, architects and writers of the 18th and 19th centuries who made this northern city a pearl of Europe. Edinburgh is now one of the most cosmopolitan and most visited cities in the world and has the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Calton Hill at its center. Just a five-minute walk from the famous shopping malls home to John Lewis, Harvey Nichols and international designer retailers on the city's fashionable George Street. There are many wonderful restaurants, pubs, cafes and wine bars within easy walking distance. The Playhouse Theater is minutes away, as is the Omni Cinema complex. Most of the other theaters and cinemas are a short taxi ride away. The National Gallery of Scotland on Princes Street has a remarkable permanent collection. Many of our visitors tell us that the best entertainment is to simply stroll through the historic streets of the old town, the famous squares and terraces of the Georgian New Town and especially at dusk, climb the steps to the sparkling panorama that awaits you at the top of the Calton Hill, which some claim is one of the greatest attractions in Europe. All public transport is within easy reach from 24 Calton Hill: Edinburgh Waverly Station is just a few minutes' walk away, as are the tram and bus systems that run regularly to Edinburgh International Airport. Very good bus system from Lothian Buses . Airport transfer "Airlink 100" bus from Lothian Buses. Edinburgh Tram from the airport to the city center.  Waverly Station Calton Hill, this is a hill in central Edinburgh, across the east end of Princes Street, with a very, very nice view over the city.  d in the same building.

This apartment is located in Edinburgh City Centre, a neighborhood in Edinburgh. Edinburgh Castle and Royal Mile are notable landmarks and Edinburgh Zoo is a popular area attraction. Camera Obscura and World of Illusions and Royal Botanic Garden are also worth visiting.
