The Old Rookery rests in Ulverston and can sleep eight people in four bedrooms.

This three-storey property consists of a first-floor kitchen/diner with electric range cooker, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, dining seating, a woodburning stove and a sitting room with electric fire and Smart TV. There is also a first-floor snug with a Smart TV and a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The bedrooms consist of a second-floor king-size with an en-suite, two ground-floor doubles, a ground-floor twin (zip/link), all with Smart TVs, along with a bathroom and ground-floor shower room. Outside, there is a terrace with furniture, and a pond, as well as off-road parking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. This welcomes one well-behaved pet and offers a highchair and travel cot. Apologies, smoking is not permitted. Within 1.8 miles there is a shop and within 1.5 miles, a pub. Ulverston is also noted for its festivals, which include everything from flags and walks to art and music festivals in the summer, as well as the famed Dickensian Christmas celebration in late November. It is the birthplace of Stan Laurel and the world record holder for the largest foam pie battle in the world, providing a look into the lively neighbourhood. There are gorgeous countryside and wonderful walks near the town, with views of the southern Lake District and Morecambe Bay.

Located in Ulverston, this cottage is in a rural area and in the mountains. Lake District National Park and Bardsea Country Park reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include South Lakes Safari Zoo and Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway. Lakes Aqaurium and The Dock Museum are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking and cycling nearby.
