There are two double bedrooms in the property, one with an en-suite wetroom and the other served by the family wetroom, sleeping a total of four guests. There is also an open-plan living space with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside you will find off-rod parking for two cars and a lawn and patio garden. The Old Byre is a fantastic holiday home for a retreat as a couple or family to the south of Scotland.

Town: Jedburgh is a historic town sitting in close proximity of the Scotland/England border, resting halfway between Newcastle upon Tyne and Edinburgh. There are plenty of shops, pubs and award-winning restaurants in easy reach, as well as the historic wonders of the town's Castle Jail, Mary Queen of Scots House and the imposing abbey. There are plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling, fishing and golfing all around, as well as Melrose, Kelso and Peebles all being just a scenic drive away too.

Located in Jedburgh, this vacation home is in a rural area and on a river. Mary Queen of Scots House and Jedburgh Castle & Jail Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Borders Abbeys Way and Kelso Racecourse. Traveling with kids? Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails, cycling, and rock climbing nearby.
