Aviemore nestles in the heart of The Cairngorms National Park at the head of the Speyside Way and boasts a wonderful range of shops, restaurants and bars. The area also offers a very wide range of outdoor activities including skiing, snowboarding, mountain and quad biking, zip lining, climbing, hill walking plus a variety of water sports on nearby Loch Insh, Loch Morlich and the River Spey, to name just a few of the myriad of activities available.

Visit the Cairngorm Reindeer Centre, Landmark Centre in nearby Carrbridge or take a trip to the Highland Wildlife Park at nearby Kingussie, all of which are within easy reach.

Located in Aviemore, this cottage is in the mountains and on a river. Spey Valley Golf Course and Cairngorm Brewery are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Speyside Wildlife and Cairngorm Reindeer Herd. Landmark Forest Adventure Park and Highland Wildlife Park are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling nearby.
