Located just 3 miles from the seaside town of Nairn, this property is ideally located for access to both lovely beaches and the spectacular scenery of the Cairngorms. Children and adults alike will love visiting the various castles in the area choose from the National Trust of Scotland Brodie Castle and the Playful Garden (3 miles) or Cawdor Castle (6.5 miles). Take a drive down to Loch Ness and see if you can spot Nessie or just enjoy a walk around the loch. Climb up Urquhart Castle and take in the superb views from the tower. A visit to the distilleries in the region is a must for whisky lovers. Follow the Malt Whisky Trail through Speyside and enjoy a tour and a tipple at the distillery of your choice from The Glenlivet to Aberlour. This cosy and welcoming single storey property, situated on a working farm, offers a rural retreat for a family in the Scottish Highlands. Enter the prettily decorated hallway and you are welcomed into the cosy living/dining room, filled with light thanks to the large windows. The adjacent galley kitchen is clean and fresh and well equipped for creating some tasty dinners. After a day out in the fresh Highland air, sit down to a family meal and then snuggle down in front of the fire or watch a film before retiring to bed. The three bedrooms are decorated in a simple, inviting style, with pretty floral bedding and curtains, and soft, muted decor. In the morning, enjoy an invigorating shower in the smart bathroom before heading downstairs to start the day. Stroll outside and breathe in the fresh, clean air and take in the unrivalled views across open fields before sitting down to a coffee on the patio. The grassy garden is shared with the neighbouring property but is large enough to be enjoyed by all. On a warm evening, fire up the BBQ and gaze up at the stars in the dark night sky.
