Our Glencoe self-catering holiday cottages are wonderfully situated in a secret valley off this magnificent and historical glen. The two light and modern semi-detached self catering cottages sit below some of Scotland's highest mountains, amongst magnificent scenery, in what must be one of the most imposing and impressive locations in the country. The Scotland scenes for the James Bond movie, Skyfall, were filmed in the area.
Whether your are looking for a comfortable base for touring the glens and sea lochs or for enjoying a wealth of outdoor activities, Glencoe Mountain Cottages can provide you with that home base. As the cottages are situated in the mountains, yet only 3 miles from Glencoe Village, the dark night sky is brilliant for star gazing.
Our two cottages are bright and very comfortably furnished with well kept shared grounds, garden furniture and barbecue. Each cottage has a double, a spacious twin and an adult sized bunk bedroom, thus sleeping up to six. The kitchen is very well equipped and the living area comes with TV, iPod, DVD and CD players. Families and groups have commented on how much they enjoy the box of games!
Our aim is provide you with a cottage you will want to return to again and again. We, therefore, choose to participate in quality control and our cottages are assessed by Visit Scotland. We have been awarded 4* with 5* for cleanliness.
