It provides all you need for a pleasant trip, including two pubs, a village store, a leisure complex with a pool and two miles of sandy beaches with sand dunes, rock pools, and Gulf Stream warmed waters, as well as one of Scotland's oldest lighthouses, established in 1748.

Sandyhills Beach and Rockcliffe Beach reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Lake District Coast Aquarium and Maryport Maritime Museum. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking and cycling nearby.
