Monksmoor House is a delightful, detached house in Middleton-in-Teesdale, North East England, offering plenty of charm and upside down accommodation. There are three bedrooms on the ground floor, one with an en-suite, along with a family bathroom, a first floor kitchen, utility, a sitting room with a dining area and a woodburner, a cloakroom and a further bedroom. Outside, there is a balcony with furniture leading from the snug, along with a ground floor enclosed courtyard with furniture and off road parking for three cars. Surrounding by countryside, Monksmoor House is a fantastic rural retreat, with a fine blend of character and contemporary features and furnishings and amenities just a short walk away. Patio, plus first floor decked area with furniture. Secure bike storage. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pubs 5 mins walk. Note: Property on main road into village, intermittent traffic noise audible in front rooms. Note: No stag/hen parties, or similar. Town: Nestling by the banks of the River Tees is the pretty Pennine village of Middleton-in-Teesdale which lies in the heart of Teesdale, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village offers a good range of shops, pubs and places to eat. This is superb walking country with high open moorland as well as pretty wooded valleys and spectacular nearby waterfalls.

Located in Barnard Castle, this cottage is in a rural area. North Pennines and Teesdale reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Eggleston Hall and Walworth Castle Birds of Prey. Be sure not to miss outdoor adventures like cycling and hiking/biking trails.
