Formerly a working brewery, this grade II listed building is set within its own grounds in the tiny hamlet of Kirksanton. Adjacent to the main tower, this wing of the property offers well-appointed accommodation including a contemporary first floor entrance hall with staircase down to a spacious sitting room, a well-equipped kitchen with views of the surrounding fells, a good-sized main bathroom and three bedrooms. Outside, the spacious lawned garden offers guests the chance to relax in the panoramic scenery. Close by, there are numerous walks and the activities and amenities of nearby towns are just a short drive away.

The local skyline is dominated by the towering peaks of Scafell, Great Gable, Hard Knott, Harter Fell and Muncaster Fell whilst the stunning valleys of Eskdale and Dunnerdale are close by and provide breathtaking scenery throughout the year. Other local attractions include Muncaster Castle, a World Owl centre and the Ravenglass to Eskdale miniature railway.

Located in Millom, this cottage is in a rural area. Laurel and Hardy Museum and Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Lakeside Windermere Ferry Landing and Windermere Ferry. Traveling with kids? Consider South Lakes Safari Zoo, or check out an event or a game at Cartmel Racecourse. Explore all the area has to offer with hiking, cycling, and rock climbing.
