Gorse Bank, Broughton-In-Furness

Lake District. Sleeps up to 7

A semi-detached, three-storey cottage, located in a quiet corner of Broughton-in-Furness on the quiet south west corner of the Lake District. This cottage has been lovingly restored by the current owners to provide spacious, well-equipped accommodation which is ideal for a family or a group of friends wishing to get together and enjoy this largely undiscovered area. This cottage features an open plan living area with a warm and cosy woodburning stove, a delightful summer room, a modern kitchen and four well laid out bedrooms. Just a two-minute walk from the cottage is the charming town centre with its beautiful square lined with Georgian houses and the local pubs and restaurants. Just six miles away is Coniston Water and for the more energetic there are the challenging fells of The Old Man of Coniston and Wetherlam, which offer a stiff challenge. Visit the market town of Ulverston, or explore a little further on the coastline to Ennerdale and the magnificent Scafell Pike, the tallest point in England and probably the most beautiful area in Lakeland. A wonderful cottage, to be enjoyed at any time of the year.
