The Dod Barn - One Bedroom House, Sleeps 8, Ilderton

Northumberland. Sleeps up to 8

The Dod Barn is a recently converted semi-detached stone barn with a difference. The accommodation is for 8 people in one bedroom with hanging drapes for extra privacy. Inside you will find a large living area with a farmhouse table, cosy sofa's nestled around a log fire, a well-equipped kitchen, and 2 spacious shower rooms, providing home comforts set in a rural location. Located on an 1800-acre working hill farm in the beautiful Ingram Valley, this barn is absolutely perfect for groups of keen fell walkers, cyclists and even star gazers as it is located in one of the best dark sky regions of the U.K. There are endless walks and trails straight from the front door, with tracks to the Pennine Way (2 miles) and un-marked routes and bridle paths across the valley. For avid cyclists, explore the Sandstone Way (1 mile) or the road to Route 68 with tracks that stretch to Hexham. Located within the Northumberland National Park, venture into the town of Wooler (8 miles) to sample the local cafes and pubs, or explore the Cheviot Hills (13 miles) and the historic town of Alnwick (17 miles) with its famous Castle & Gardens and local high street.
The Dod Barn's newest upgrade sees a secure cycle shed with storage for up to 10 bikes and includes electric charging points (bikes only). Also included is a jet wash and a repair station to cater for any adventure.
