Set in the peaceful and beautiful Carmarthenshire countryside, Fferm Ty’r Eithin (Welsh for Gorse House Farm) is home to Ty’r Eithin Bach (Little Gorse House). The converted farm building is now a lovely, self-contained annexe that sleeps up to two guests. The thoughtful conversion makes the most of the space, with an open-plan living and sleeping space, separate kitchen and a bathroom. The cottage-style kitchen is fully equipped for your stay, and from here you enter the L-shaped living and sleeping space, with feature fireplace at the heart, a seating area, TV, wardrobe and double bed. Outside, there is a courtyard offering parking space, and at the rear is a private seating area for you to enjoy the gorgeous views. The 25-acre farm is secluded, so head down the track and you’ll be greeted by the lovely owners that live in the main farm building. Ty’r Eithin Bach has been set up to share the peace and tranquillity of the farm with guests. In keeping with a relaxing ‘get away’ - there’s no wi-fi here, but the mobile signal is quite good if you need a connection. Feel free to take a stroll around the farm’s woodland, relax and enjoy a break from busy life!
There’s plenty to see and do in the local area. The village of Trimsaran is around 1½ miles away where you’ll find a convenience store, post office and a chip shop. A few miles further, Kidwelly offers more choice, including some pubs and restaurants. Glyn Abbey Golf Course and Ffos Las Racecourse are just a few minutes away. For the nature lovers, The National Botanical Gardens of Wales, Aberglasney Gardens or Llanelli Wetland Centre make for a great day out and can be reached by car in under 40 minutes. For a more active day out, you may want to head to the nearby Pembrey Country Park or Motor Racing Circuit – just a 15-minute drive from Fferm Ty’r Eithin!

Located in Kidwelly, this cottage is in a rural area. Pembrey Country Park and WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include The Play King and National Botanic Garden of Wales. Combat Challenge and National Trust Rhossili Shop & Visitor Centre are also worth visiting. Spend some time exploring the area's activities, including golfing.
