Parlour Cottage is a well-equipped, spacious family home in the heart of the South Downs National Park with panoramic unspoilt views of the Downs. Walk or cycle from or very near to the house – great for dogs which are welcome. Award-winning pub 50 yards away, with gin menu, local ales and amazing food. Close to cathedral city of Chichester, Goodwood and West Wittering beach.

The Space:
This beautiful family home comprises a large kitchen/dining/living area with bi-fold doors looking out on to South Downs. Fully equipped kitchen (double oven, hob, American fridge freezer, dishwasher) with plentiful equipment to cater for all. Nespresso machine, cafetiere and grinder for coffee lovers. Dining table seats 12 comfortably. Two large sofas looking out to garden and Downs.

Sitting room with three huge, comfy sofas. TV. Woodburning log stove. Chest full of games and puzzles.
Utility room with washing machine, airer and microwave. Dog cage available on demand. Downstairs toilet. Underfloor heating in much of house.

Ground floor bedrooms: Master bedroom has a kingsize bed and full length windows looking east into the South Downs. Ensuite shower room. One room with a double bed and another with bunk beds share the family bathroom (shower over bathtub).

Attic bedroom: Kingsize bed and ensuite shower room.

Annex: Kingsize bed and double sofa bed. Ensuite shower room and tea making area.

Outside: The garden is laid mainly to lawn. On the terrace is seating for 10-12, deckchairs and a charcoal BBQ. Outside games room, with table football, darts and roulette. Off street parking for several cars.

The pretty village of Eartham lies some 7 miles to the east of Chichester. The cathedral city of Chichester provides a comprehensive range of shopping facilities, cafes and restaurants located in its partly pedestrianised centre.

Eartham is surrounded by the rich and varied countryside of the South Downs National Park and has a lovely village pub, The George. Locally, further shops are available to the south at Barnham which also has a mainline station, as does Arundel to the east, providing a regular service to London Victoria.

Goodwood is only 5 miles away providing a whole range of facilities including its country club, hotel and newly opened restaurant serving produce from their organic Estate farm. Goodwood is also internationally famous for its horse-racing as well as the annual Festival of Speed and the September Revival meeting at its historic motor circuit.

Getting Around:
The property is in a beautiful rural location, we therefore advise travelling by car.
