This attractive and beautifully appointed, well-equipped town house is perfect for families and friends who want to explore the Yorkshire Dales and surrounding areas such as Cumbria and even Lancashire. With close proximity to Kirkby Lonsdale, a bustling market town just 6 miles away and within walking distance to the village centre of Ingleton, River view makes for the ideal hideaway.

Sleeping six guests in three light and airy bedrooms, this delightful townhouse offers spacious accommodation over three floors, including a beautiful open plan sitting and family dining room featuring floor to ceiling windows over looking the River Doe that flows through the famous Ingleton Waterfall Trail. The ground floor that greets you on arrival before heading up to the first and second floors, houses the utility and cloakroom. From here take the first flight of stairs to the well-equipped kitchen and breakfast area with french doors that open out onto the patio, the perfect place to rustle up a feast for your guests whilst they enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace or board game in the comfortable sitting and dining room. On the second floor the master bedroom with stunning views, even a glimpse of Ingleborough in the winter months, has the added benefit of an en suite shower room, whilst the double and further twin bedrooms have full use of the family bathroom. Outside to the rear, down a few steps is a gravelled area seating up to six guests enjoying the afternoon sun, whilst the front has a small table and two chairs perfect for morning coffee. The treat however, has to be the private access down to the river through a little gate across from the driveway. From hear walk down to a raise area that can be enjoyed whenever you want (please do not leave children unsupervised in this area).

Ingleton is a fantastic central location to visit many must see villages, attractions, even has it's very own community outdoor swimming pool (so don't forget your swimming costume during the summer months) and not to forget amazing fell walks such as The Three Peaks; Ingleborough, Pen-y-ghent and Whernside that rise out of limestone dale, one of the well known fell walkers A.Wainwright's favourite walks. For those who wish to take it a little easier, pack a picnic and wander along the track towards Ribblehead Viaduct followed by a cream tea at one of the many tearooms within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, It's safe to say you will have earnt a good nights sleep when you return to River View.

With a walk in shower, wash basin and WC (there is a small step in the bathroom leading up to the shower).

With a 4'6 double bed, bedside cabinets and wardrobe.
Bedroom three
With 3' twin single beds, bedside cabinets and wardrobe.
Family bathroom
With bath and overhead shower attachment, wash basin and WC.

Outside:
Paved seating area at the front of the cottage with table and chairs seating two guests.
Gravelled south west facing seating area to the rear of the cottage, featuring garden furniture for six guests.
Shared private access with steps leading to the river with bench to relax across the road on the estate (children must be supervised at all times).
Off street parking for two cars with further parking just next to the driveway.

Babes in arms under the age of 6 months welcome, in own Moses basket.

Due to the layout of the property, there are two flights of stairs.

This cottage is located in Carnforth. Ribblehead Viaduct and Force Gill Aqueduct are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Yorkshire Dales National Park and Ingleborough National Nature Reserve. The Enchanted Chocolate Mine and Westmorland County Showground are also worth visiting.
