The neighbourhood

The property is part of a country estate with a Georgian Grade II* listed Manor House and 9 acres of grounds. You are welcome to take a walk around, explore and ‘meet' the resident alpacas, sheep, chickens and ducks.

Situated in the Vale of Glamorgan, the property is close to fantastic country and coastal walks including the short walk to the pebbly beach of Limpert Bay. From here there are spectacular views across the Bristol Channel to Exmoor and Minehead.

The property is also in easy reach of local towns including Cowbridge that is steeped in history and has many stylish independent shops and restaurants. Meanwhile, Cardiff is about a 45-minute drive away.

Other places of interest in the area include Dyffryn Gardens managed by the National Trust; the open-air St Fagans National Museum of History and Dunraven Bay which is great for fossil-hunting.

Getting around

A car is recommended for travelling to the property and ease of getting around. The property is easily reachable from the M4. If you arrive by electric vehicle, there are two electric charging points available. The estate also has a helicopter landing point.

This apartment is located in Saint Athan, a neighborhood in Barry, and is in a rural area and near the beach. Church, College and Lighthouses Walk and Brynhill Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Porthkerry Country Park and Cosmeston Lakes Country Park. Taskforce Paint Ball Games and Barry Island Pleasure Park are also worth visiting. Be sure not to miss outdoor adventures like hiking and cycling.
