The former mining town Cwmbach, nestled within an industrial valley, is well placed for making the most of the Brecon Beacons and ideal for couples looking to make the most of a stunning and diverse landscape. There are many attractions to visit, including The Blaenavon Heritage Railway and Iron Works, Afan Forest Park, BikePark Wales, Zip Wire Wales, Waterfall Country and the National Showcaves Centre for Wales. You can explore the mountains by foot, bike or horseback, or simply take in the peaceful canal and reservoirs. Slightly further afield, you are just over a half hour's drive from Wales' capital city of Cardiff, perfect for a shopping trip or watching a game of rugby. A little further on is the pretty seaside town of Barry Island, providing traditional seaside fun. Take in the views across the industrial valley before you step inside. This single storey cottage is light and spacious offering an open plan living space that's perfect for couples to relax in. The lounge/diner is a spacious room where you can sink back into the sofa and enjoy a good movie on the TV after a day of exploring. For dining, there's a table and chairs just perfect for two. Through an open archway, you will find the kitchen which is also spacious and well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. There is access to a utility area with a washing machine and space for coats and boots. Just off the main living space is a double bedroom with access into the bathroom with a shower over bath and WC, completing the accommodation. Outside to the rear of the cottage, you can relax in the private hot tub; there is also a space with a table and chairs and charcoal BBQ for summer dining. There is storage for bikes and off road parking for two cars.
