Situated within the beautiful Blairquhan Estate, Kennedy cottage is the ideal retreat for a secluded short break. Surrounded by stunning views of unspoiled Ayrshire countryside, over 200 acres of private woodland, a garden pond and a huge walled garden, this spacious three-bedroom self-catering cottage offers all amenities our guests will ever need to make their stay very comfortable and unforgettable.
Kennedy Cottage is one side of a courtyard forming part of Blairquhan Castle. The stone carvings on the cottage date back to 1575. Downstairs is a fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. There is a large living room with comfortable soft seating, digital TV and a bedroom with two single beds.
Upstairs there is a shower-room/toilet and two more bedrooms (one with double bed , galleried, and one with a double bed and a single bed).
Located in Maybole, this cottage is in a rural area. Blairquhan Castle and Crossraguel Abbey are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Belleisle Golf Club and Turnberry Golf Club. Scottish Maritime Museum and Girvan Community Garden are also worth visiting.
