This period stone detached house is set within the grounds of Killochan Castle. Explore the forests and large private gardens on these exquisite grounds which are often home to lots of local wildlife. The Water of Girvan flows through the castle estate, and is renowned for excellent Atlantic salmon, brown trout, and sea trout fishing (ghillies can also be arranged at this property). Surrounded by championship golf courses, the small yet handy town of Turnberry is just 7 miles away. Guests of all ages and abilities, including children, can book lessons at some of the nearby golf courses. The splendid Ayrshire coastline and countryside is a paradise for walkers, bikers and hikers with numerous coastal trails and country tracks to explore. Enjoy a scenic boat trip around Ailsa Craig Island, catch the ferry to the mystical Isle of Arran or enjoy a day trip to Ireland, from the nearby port of Cairnryan. As you walk into the property, you will find yourself in the open plan hallway with the formal dining area opposite. The stunning dining table here is perfect to accommodate your whole party for a special occasion. The lounge is to the right of the entrance; it is atmospheric with comfortable seating, a Smart TV and a wood burner. At the other end of the hall, there is a WC. Off the dining room, you will find the bespoke kitchen which is well equipped with views over the garden. From the kitchen, you will find a downstairs king size bedroom with a bathroom next door. Heading up to the first floor from the dining area, you will find three more stunning bedrooms: two featuring magnificent king size four poster beds and a twin. The bedrooms have been decorated to create an atmospheric and Scottish theme with unique tweed wallpaper and luxurious finishing touches. There is a spacious family bathroom with a free standing bath and a walk in shower. Outside, there is a large private garden with a lawn and a patio with garden furniture the perfect spot to contemplate the remainder of the holiday with a cup of tea in hand.
